For the past year we'v  done lots of art like stockings , bees and my favourite thing of all was robots that we made out of news paper. For History we learned about Vikings,the stone age and the Willow pattern. My favorite out of those three were the vikings. for P.E we done lots of games and we also went out with mr mcEvoy. At the start of the year we had a student teacher.Her name was miss Tierney. She taught us a really cool song.

In third class so far we have put eggs in a cup to of salt water and plain water. The egg in normal water sunk and the egg in salt water floated.We did this in science.We also coloulerd a snake and cut it out.We tied a string through the snake and hung it over the radiator to see if it would spin and it did.
In English we learned about whales and differant species of whalesTthere was alot of information we did not knowIit was very interesting.Most of the kids in my class think that the blue whale is the best whale.In history we learned about Newgrange and the history of its people.

THIRD CLASS SO FAR

In 3rd class so far we have learned about renaming in maths and we also learned  about the first famers in history. Did you know that the first famers used flint or sticks to make fire? In geography  we looked at the willow tree pattern and made art out of the leaves.  In irish we did the song waving flag with our student teacher Ms Tierney , and we also made our own irish poems .  By Nicole O'Regan
